A service for the Mystery Shopping Industry

MarketPublic is a service for mystery shopping and market research companies - providing them with access to mystery shoppers.

MarketPublic has a database of over 20,000 registered mystery shoppers all of whom are available now to undertake mystery shopping assignments throughout the UK.

Mystery Shopping companies can select any number of mystery shoppers from our database with the selected list being delivered in a spreadsheet format.

how does it work?

MarketPublic recruits and manages a database of over 20,000 mystery shoppers in the UK. It is constantly being added to through a varied recruitment process.

Each mystery shopper in the database is an individual who has personally registered with us and who has completed a detailed personal profile. Each has expressly requested to be referred to mystery shopping and related market research companies.

Companies can select a shopper profile (for example by area or age) and request a file of mystery shoppers numbering anything between 20 and 20,000.

MarketPublic will then produce a database file (in an Excel or csv format) and send it to the acquiring company.

Once purchased, the shopper information is the property of the mystery shopping company. Our only stipulation is that the data must not be passed on to any other company, can only be used for the purposes of contacting the individuals about mystery shopping related assignements and that the indiviudals in the list must not be added to promotional mailing lists.

The acquiring company can then contact any or all of the shoppers in the file and offer them available work. All responsibility for shopper management and payment rests with the acquiring company. Of course shoppers do have the right to decline any job if for some reason it is not suitable for them, but everyone on the database has expressly stated their desire for work.

Smoker/non-smoker

Cost will depend on the numbers requested and the profile detail required.

Once selected, all individual files will have the full profile data as stored in our database. Please note: some shoppers can leave some optional fields blank. However, clearly if a profile request has ordered specific fields, only shoppers with that field completed will delivered.

For those companies that would prefer a full service solution including shopper management, programme delivery and reporting - a number of options are available.

This could for example apply to companies from outside the UK which require UK work undertaking by a local supplier, or those companies that require specialist support such as video and audio feedback.
